Itinerary:

Day 1
Rishikesh - Uttarkashi ( 202km; drive 4 - 5hrs )
Drive early morning from Rishikesh to Uttarkashi, the district headquarters in the upper section of the Bhagirathi valley at an altitude of 0915m, with the beautiful Bhagirathi river flowing through the town. Stop en route for lunch. Check in at a hotel on arrival in the evening. Relax and prepare for next day's trek. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2
Uttarkashi - Agoda ( 17km drive, 5km trek)
Drive to Kalyani (17km) and then we start the trek (5km, 2-3hrs). After a gradual climb arrive at the camp. Enjoy the evening in the beautiful surroundings at 2135m. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3
Agoda - Dodi Tal ( 15km; 6 - 8 hrs )
After breakfast start the day by a trek to reach Dodi Tal. We reach a high altitude lake at 3322m with crystal clear waters and surrounded by a thick forest of alpine trees and inhabited by famed Himalayan Trout - a delight for anglers as well as nature lovers. Please remember that a permit is required for fishing in the lake. Surrounded by mountains, the lake is a paradise to be in and its peace and tranquility add to the beauty. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 4
Dodi Tal
Spend the day fishing or just hiking in the forest. This region is inhabited with rare wildlife including the Snow leopard, Snow fox, Monal. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 05
Dodi Tal - Agoda ( 15km; 6 - 8 hrs )
Return to Agoda by the same route and camp overnight.

Day 06
Agoda - Chamba ( 6 - 8 hrs )
Trek down to Kalyani to end the tryst with the mountains and drive back to Uttarkashi for lunch. Drive to Chamba in the afternoon to check in at a hotel. Chamba is situated on a 1677m high ridge. It is a small town which provides breathtaking views of the High Himalayas with fabulous sunrise and sunset visual experiences. En route you can visit the site of Asia’s largest rock filled dam being built at Tehri. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7
Chamba - Rishikesh ( 73km; 3 - 4 hrs )
Drive to Rishikesh and check in at a hotel on arrival. Spend the day exploring the traditions and cultures of India on the banks of the holy river Ganga. Visit the Swargashram, the Ram and Lakshman Jhoolas, the Gita bhavan and attend the evening "Arti" on the Ganga banks. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Day 8
Rishikesh - Delhi ( 178km; 5 - 6 hrs )
Drive back to Delhi to end the tour.
